Legendary St Blazey manager Trevor Mewton

CORNISH football has lost probably the most successful manager after former St Blazey boss Trevor Mewton, aged 73, died last Friday.

News filtered through over the weekend of the passing of the ex-St Blazey manager who gave joy to all those who watched his side at Blaise Park in the late 1990s and 2000s.

They were a powerhouse on and off the field, dominating the Cornish football scene and also going so close to reaching the first round proper of the FA Cup in 1998-99...
