Kicked off school bus
Fowey River Academy

A NUMBER of pupils were forced to walk home along “dangerous” roads from Fowey River Academy after school bus drivers refused to let them on because they did not have their bus pass.

Students who tried to board the bus home after school on Thursday were told by Roselyn Coaches drivers they could not get on if they did not have their bus pass.

The action left a number of pupils stranded as they were unable to find alternative transport and were forced to walk miles to get home instead.

As a volunteer council driver I sympathise with the coach drivers they can lose their jobs if they are found to let pupils on without passes it´s the same for all schools. The onus is on pupils to carry their I.d.
