Crowds join Sue in rally for cancer treatment 
The rally took place on Tuesday

CROWDS of people took to the streets of Truro yesterday to rally against proposed plans to make cancer patients travel to Devon for radiotherapy treatment.

Sue Heyward, from Par, along with friend, Eluned Bree, who lives in Bugle, organised the gathering on Lemon Quay to show their opposition to NHS England’s plans to create a new model for radiotherapy services.

The proposals would see patients with less common cancers having to travel to Derriford or even Exeter for treatment...
