“IF PEOPLE do not agree with it, they don’t have to buy a ticket,” is the message from the MP for St Austell after giving his backing to a new lottery game to pay for a new £120m royal yacht.

Steve Double is one of 50 Conservative MPs who have signed a letter to ministers calling for the launch of a new lotto game to fund a new Royal Yacht Britannia to “showcase” post-Brexit Britain.

The letter said the new lottery would let the public feel the “pride of having a stake” in the yacht which would “showcase the best of British business and project our humanitarian role across the globe” following Brexit.....

How about a lottery to help people using food banks Mr Double as you obviously feel strongly about that as a recent publicity stunt by yourself at a food bank showed ( which this government has made a growth industry) surely that´s more of a priority then showing off
